Wolfmaan, in partnership with Barefoot Bushcraft and Niagara Quartermaster present the Building Your Bug Out Bag workshop!

Description: This is a hands-on workshop where participants will learn the essentials of the Bug Out Bag, and learn how to use each and every tool in it. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to try out different techniques, use fero-rod fire starters, and learn the “survival mindset”

  • Do you need a BOB?
  • How long for?
  • Mental mindset
  • Keeping your bag ready
  • Bag Contents
  • Practical Use of equipment / materials

 

Bag Contents Lecture Includes:

  • What do you need every day to be comfortable?
  • Hygiene
  • Shelter
  • Food
  • Shemagh
  • Fire
  • Water
  • Tools
  • Clothing
  • Shoes

 

 PRACTICAL Exercises:

  • Fire making practice with Fero. Rods & cotton balls
  • Selecting and Making Tinder
  • Using Knives
  • Sharpening Knives
  • Water filtering – using Shemagh, boiling, etc.
  • Staying Hidden
  • Snares & food
  • Making a tarp shelter

 

 

Participants need to bring: Knife & lunch
