Ka-Bar 1230 Knife Review

Instructor Wolf reviews the vintage Ka-Bar 1230 Knife.
This blade was manufactured under the Ka-Bar brand between 1985 and 1998 and listed with an MSRP of $25.75. The Ka-Bar brand which was originally named “Union Cutlery” has been in operation since 1800. From 1966 to 1996 the brand was owned by Cole National of Cleveland, Ohio. Blades manufactured during Cole National ownership had a scripted Ka-Bar font and were made in Japan and imported.
